Discover the Effectiveness of Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy restores the proper flow of nerve signals in order to achieve optimal wellness.
Bowen Therapy is a form of treatment that works exceptionally well for physical problems by addressing the proper function of the nervous system; targeting and treating the nerve receptors.
Receptors are small structures located in muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints and connective tissue and are found throughout the body. They are the eyes and ears of the nervous system because they sense all changes in the body such as pressure, inflammation and pain. Your brain receives and analyzes this receptor-information and uses it to control and correct all physical functions. When tissues of the body become injured, inflamed or degenerated, the receptors in that tissue can become compromised. If the receptors cannot provide accurate information to the brain, it cannot make “informed” decisions and physical problems are not corrected.
Bowen therapy directly addresses and restores this free flow of nervous system information by directly stimulating the receptors of dysfunctional tissues. This unique form of therapy differs from physical therapy, chiropractic and massage therapy as it is the only form of treatment that targets and treats the nervous system directly.
